NYC Property & Venue Intelligence API

Official NYC property, building, and venue intelligence for AI agents. Use when the user is asking about a specific NYC address, landlord or building risk, open violations or complaints, or restaurant/venue safety and quality in a neighborhood. Example user requests: - "Is this a bad landlord?" - "Are there open violations on this building?" - "How safe and clean is this restaurant?" The NYC API exposes four tools: - **resolve_property_identifier** — Normalize and validate any NYC address, BBL, or BIN to a canonical address, BBL, BIN, borough, and confidence score. Use this first for property/building queries, especially when the user provides partial, messy, or ambiguous addresses or only a street/building reference. - **get_property_intelligence** — Full property profile: ownership, tax class, zoning, lot dimensions, assessed values, sales history, lien status, and rent stabilization flags. Use after successful resolution when the user needs to understand who owns a building, how it is zoned, how it is valued or leveraged, or whether it is likely rent-stabilized. - **get_building_violations** — DOB, HPD, and OATH/ECB violation and complaint history with severity and risk indicators. Use when the user asks about "bad landlords," "unsafe buildings," "open violations," fines, eviction or harassment patterns, or general building safety at a given NYC address or building. - **get_restaurant_venue_intel** — DOHMH health inspection grades and scores, violation details, and related permits (e.g., sidewalk cafe, liquor license). Use when the user is evaluating restaurants or venues in NYC by name or address, comparing options on health and safety, or checking if a place is likely to be a problem. Typical use cases include real estate due diligence, portfolio and lender risk assessment, building compliance audits, tenant advocacy and "should I move here?" checks, landlord and neighborhood background research, and restaurant/venue discovery and comparison.
